There is so much that could be said about Jean. Her laughter was infectious. I loved the way she would cut her eyes at me and say "Foot, naw" when she was wanting to let me know that she surely didn't want to do something. I’ve heard the name Jean all my life. Mama would delight us kids with stories of their antics together which made for that sweet continuity of life that we enjoy. Although I didn’t see Jean every day and our moments of time were scattered, when we had them, they were full of life. I guess that’s why I loved her so much.
She had a laugh that filled the room and she just loved to talk. She had the dark skin and dark brown eyes that marked all those Aron children and she was just a little bit on the stubborn side. This past Monday she figured out how to make us cry. She slipped off to eternity and now heaven’s rafters ring with her laughter.
And though she left behind a lot of hurting hearts, one day we will walk with angels by our side where there are no sad partings and we never have to say goodbye.
