To the Jinks' family,
Eight years ago I walked into a Crossfit gym and met Jay. Where I am today and the things I have accomplished would not have been possible without Jay's mentorship, and direction. He spoke of the rocking chair syndrome, which gave me the courage to follow my passion. Jay was my compass throughout selection, the course and my combat deployments. He was always there to steer me back on azimuth. I'm extremely sorry for your loss. Know, that he will not be forgotten and even although I always gave him a hard time, he was someone I always looked up to, respected and admired. He will be missed.
