James Leo Spetz's Obituary
James L. Spetz, 85, The Villages, Florida, passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at his home.
Born May 28, 1928 in Painesville, Ohio, he was the son of Leo and Genevieve Spetz.
He was a graduate of Case Institute of Technology with a degree in Chemical Engineering, graduating in 1952. He was a Registered Professional Engineer, State of Ohio.
He was the owner of Jim Spetz Testing Laboratory in Wickliffe and Jim Spetz Consulting Company until his retirement.
He enjoyed many activities in The Villages including golf, poker and pinochle.
Jim is survived by his wife, Susan (Fisher), of 39 years. Children, Susan Maimone, Janet Spetz (Rick), Lee, Nancy and Elise Gammalo (Dino); and step-children Bill Dubusker (Barbara), Bruce Longbrake (Debbie), and Beth Longbrake; Sisters, Joan Brannigan (Fran) of Wadsworth, Jacque Westall (Bill) of Colorado; Brothers, Joe (Genice) of California, John (Libby) of Painesville, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
