James Robert Smith Jr.'s Obituary
James Robert Smith, Jr., 83, Wildwood, FL went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2014 under the loving care of family and staff of Lane Purcell Hospice House. Mr. Smith was retired from the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Postal Service. He was a native of Central Florida growing up in Coleman and returning to Wildwood in 1992 from Orlando. He was a member of the Coleman First Baptist Church, Coleman, FL. A proud U.S. Air Force Veteran who served during the Korean and Vietnam War. He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years: Doris Smith of Wildwood, FL; three sons: James E. Smith (Debby) of Winter Park, FL, David A. Smith of Wildwood, FL and Ronald W. Smith of Franklin, NC; two daughters: Linda Sue Upton (Roger) of Silver Creek, MS and Diana Smith of California; a brother: J.L. Smith of Ocklawaha, FL; a sister: Virginia Rogers of Wildwood, FL; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations to be made in his loving memory to Lane Purcell Hospice House, Sumterville, FL. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, FL.
