Uncle Jim, it was always a pleasure seeing you at family reunions. I love that you kept your sense of humor until the last time we saw you (a year or so ago.) Uncle Jim was quite a character and never failed to make me laugh. He definitely appreciated the ladies and let us know it! I remember visiting him in Wildwood when Sarah, Katie and Danny were in elementary school and Doug may have gone dove hunting- it was a great day. He was a one of a kind and I loved his stories-
To the best Great Uncle anyone could ask for. He taught alir about life and how to enjoy it. He stepped up when our family lost grandparent we were young and took us under his wing . Let me you Uncle Jim

Uncle Jim was definitely a "one of a kind" and will always be remembered for his happy demeanor - always smiling. Growing up, he provided us great times and memories at the Wildwood farm, where I remember learning many things about animals - like that down feathers come from ducks, gator tastes like chicken, and pigs eat outdated candy bars! He will truly be missed, but happy that he has joined his parents and other siblings in such a glorious place. Rest In Peace, Uncle Jim - be sure to give Aunt Marian a hug! Love, JoLynne Peterson
Uncle Jim,
I'll always remember visiting you in Jax and swimming in your pool. That was the best pool I've ever been in. The diving board was something that helped me overcome some timidity - I just kept going higher and farther until I was floating in the air I think I was 7 or 8 at the time, and our family visited for days. I remember the well water and how it smelled like rotten eggs, but when Aunt Nadine made iced tea with it, you couldn't tell it was well water. She was very special, a kind soul and very cool.
Your strong presence and character will always be with me. Faye took us under her wing and showed us around the property. If I recall, you had a few farm animals, certainly a vestige of your young life on the farm. Rest in peace, and you will always be in my thoughts.

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Uncle Jim but it is not without fond memories of time spent with him. I can honestly say that he brought an experience to our lives that we will continue to remember with a chuckle. We came home from a Rosier/Roberts family gathering and my husband turned to me and said, "I have bear stuck in my teeth" without Uncle Jim sharing his famous bear stew this memory and continued joy from that moment would not have been possible. Our family met James at Heritage church over 2 years ago. We enjoyed getting to know
James and knew he had a love for the Lord. So blessed we had him for a friend!

Jim, you was the Constable in Mandarin when I was a young boy growing up in the best place in the world. Our paths crossed again when I moved to Wildwood an joined the Lodge, you was my instructor. We made some good memories over the years, rest easy my brother.
I am so sorry for your loss. I meet Jim probably 25 yrs ago, my husband new him when he was growing up in Mandarin, Fl. He was a great guy. The kids loved to go out to his little Ranch he had. The cows that my son showed in the fair always came from Jim. Godspeed. You will be missed.
