We have such wonderful memories of Jim and his wonderful loving wife Lorraine. Neighbors 'down the street'...
Playing Samba with them about every month. Laughing with Jim (not AT him) when he made inevitable errors in the game and mumbling to himself, but shrugged it all off.
Playing golf with them - such a FUN couple. If he hit a bad shot, he shrugged it all off. A few years ago, after Jim and I played golf, he dropped me off on our driveway with his golf cart. He made a wide turn to leave...and a link broke and a front wheel fell off. He took it in stride.
Jimmy had a very rough time with his health the last few years. We all know that he had the committed support and deep love of Lorraine which comforted him, and us. They are such a wonderful couple.
Jimmy was one of 'those guys' who would certainly give the shirt off his back for his friends. A big heart.
I will always fondly remember his hearty laugh and big smile. And Lovely Lorraine next to him giving him that loving look and arm squeeze.
Phyllis and I will greatly miss Our Jimmy. But he left us all with such warm and wonderful memories.
