James Edward Moore Sr.'s Obituary
James Edward Moore, Sr., 83, Oxford, FL went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2014 under the loving care of his family. Mr. Moore was born on May 9, 1930 in Farmers, KY. He moved to Central Florida in 1939. James began building homes when he was 17 and built some of the most elaborate custom homes in this area and in North Carolina. He also worked on the railroad for nine years. He was a loving Husband and Father and was of the Christian faith and attended The First Baptist Church of Wildwood. He is survived by his loving wife of 351/2 years: Carolyn Lorena Baker Moore of Oxford, FL; loving children: James Edward Moore, Jr. of Deland, FL, Terry Michael Moore and Gregory Allen Moore of Oxford, FL, Pamela Susan Kleier and Gina Marie Phillips of Olympia, WA, David Pate of Wildwood, FL, Kenneth Pate of Jacksonville, FL, Keith Pate of Inverness, FL, Patricia Pate of Summerfield, FL, Marcia Brown of Steinhatchee, FL and Barbara Boscana of Coleman, FL; 40 Grandchildren, 52 Great-Grandchildren and 3 great Great-Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, FL with Funeral Service on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 11:00AM at Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, FL. burial to follow at Pine Level Cemetery, Oxford, FL.
