James Alexander Lackey's Obituary
James Alexander "Big Al" Lackey, 72, of Wildwood, FL, went to be with the Lord on February 4, 2026. James was born on May 8, 1953, in Leesburg, FL, to his loving parents; John and Millie (Adler) Lackey.
Big Al was a true Florida Native and a member of First Baptist Wildwood. He was the honorary manager of the athletic teams at Wildwood high school for many years. He was incredible, making sure all the uniforms were washed, attending every game and making sure the players had everything they needed. Big Al was a big sports fan, number 1 fan of the Wildwood Wildcats and Florida Gators.
James is survived by his brothers: Allen (Paula) Lackey and John Edward (Lisa) Lackey, as well as his nieces and nephews; John Allen (Mandy) Lackey, Jessica Broom, Sara (Trey) Vickers and Jake (Diana) Lackey, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
James is preceded in passing by his parents; John and Millie Lackey.
