James Joseph Truss, II's Obituary
James Joseph Truss, II, 72 of Oxford, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Mr. Truss was born in Hell’s Kitchen, NYC, NY. He moved to Oxford in 1984 from Cold Springs, NY. He was the retired owner of Trash Busters Refuse in Oxford. He loved farming and his grandchildren. While living in N.Y., he was a volunteer fireman for Highlands, NY. Survivors include his sons, Jimmy “Butch”of Lady Lake, FL, Tom of Fishkill, NY, Mike (Jami)of Oxford; a daughter; Tina (Scott) Risley of Maitland, FL.; sisters, Joan Joslyn of Courtland Manor, NY and Joyce Sles of Wildwood; 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death in 2007, by his wife of 52 years, Elsie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 8:30 AM, Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, Wildwood. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be directed to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, Fl. 32778-9915. Online condolences may be left by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
