James H. Cason's Obituary
James H. Cason, 86, of Wildwood passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012. Mr. Cason was a lifelong resident, born September 28, 1925 in Wildwood to the late Walter and Jessie (Curington) Cason. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII; he retired in 1971 as a Trainman from CSX. He was a member of the Adamsville Baptist Church and the American Legion. Mr. Cason was very mechanically inclined making and repairing many things and he loved gardening and fishing. Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Maurine; sons, James H. Cason, II of Leesburg and George Cason of Sheldon, Wisconsin; daughters, Linda Wright and Carol Ann Drelick, both of Tennessee; brothers, George of Lakeland and Earl of Auburndale; along with 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles. Visitation for Mr. Cason will be held 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in the Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home with a graveside service immediately following the visitation in the Greenwood Cemetery, Wildwood.
