Jim and I were high school sweethearts. We never lost touch after 64 years with occasional visits when he would come to NY or NJ. Then he moved to FL and we were practically neighbors. Jim was one of the first men I met at The Villages playing games and bocce. He was so nice and friendly, joking and singing through the games. I will miss him at all the activities.My condolence to his family.

I am a friend of Jim's from his Amtrak days in Sacramento. I first met Jim over 20 years ago when I was the training supervisor for his first position at Amtrak. At one time, Jim and I dated and we shared lots of good times. Although it was not meant to be, Jim and I remained friends and occasionally met for lunch or dinner.
I know that he was very excited to move to Florida and The Villages and especially to purchase a house. He had showed me pictures and I think it was the perfect place for Jim. I hope that he was able to enjoy all the benefits The Villages had to offer and that the time he spent there was a happy one for him. I will remember him fondly.
