James A. Brown's Obituary
James Brown
1955–2026
James Brown, the eldest of four, was a devoted father of three and a loving husband. He met the love of his life in Stuttgart, Germany while serving as a Military Police officer in the United States Army.
After eight years of honorable service, James continued his dedication to protecting others as a detective with the Department of Defense. He later retired to Florida with his wife and children, where he remained active in his community, working with Community Watch in The Villages.
James was a mentor to many and led by example in all that he did. He was selfless, compassionate, and deeply cared for those around him. He found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments—singing with his wife, traveling, telling unforgettable stories, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Our hearts ache as we say goodbye for now, but we find comfort in knowing we will see him again in our eternal home.
Thank you, Dad and Papa, for showing us the true meaning of love—especially in the way you cared for Mom. Your legacy will live on in all of us.
We will see you again soon, Daddy
