Jack "Jackie" Nalley Brandon's Obituary
Jack “Jackie” Nalley Brandon, 84, of The Villages, FL passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023. He was born Sunday, July 16, 1939, in Galveston, TX to Jack Wells and Mildred Belle (nee Nalley) Brandon.
He worked most of his life as an electrician and was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). He was a volunteer firefighter in his youth. After retirement he kept busy at Ace Hardware Store. He was a founding member of the Rock of Ages Lutheran Church and actively involved in the construction of the new church facility.
He took great joy being with family and friends. His favorite pastime was golfing with his closest buddies. He also served his community by volunteering at community soup kitchens and homeless shelters in FL and IL. He was always willing to help those in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: James Richard Brandon and Francis Addison Brandon.
He is survived by his daughters: Elizabeth Diane (Steve) Stempinski and Jacqueline Gayle (Greg) Guillory; stepdaughter, Monica Stare; grandchildren: Nick, Elyse, and Sam; and many other loving family and friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life held 10:00 am Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church 4957 E County Rd 462, Wildwood, FL 34785.
