Isabel McCormic's Obituary
Isabel D. McCormic, age 94, of Wildwood passed away Monday, June 29, 2009. She moved to Florida in 1947 from India with her husband, the late Army Captain Joseph C. McCormic of Wildwood. She was a Home maker, an Episcopalian, a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Wildwood Chapter #24, the Wildwood Women's Club and an avid photographer. She was the photographer for the Women's Club and photographed many of the Parade of Homes. She is survived by her step-son Dan (Noella) McCormic of Sumter Co; one brother-in-law Paul (Gerry) McCormic of Wildwood; one sister-in-law Lavina McCormic of Leesburg; one brother, William (Barbara) Ablett of Wales; one niece Jill Cavanaugh of Australia; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren along with several other nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to her loving caregivers at Arbor Village. Visitation will be held Wednesday,July 1, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Order of the Eastern Star Funeral rites at 11:30 a.m. Funeral services will follow at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Chapel.
