Dear Lyla and Family, and Dow Family, Our deepest sympathies go out to you and may you feel God's comfort at this sad time. I will always remember Howard for his funny sense of humor, his kidding around, his kind heart and his willingness to help people. I thought Howard was a relative when I was a kid and when I found out we weren't related I still felt he was part of our family. He spent time hanging out with us on the farm in Bloomfield, helping with the haying, picking potatoes, corn boils and ball games. When our mom died it was good to see Howard and reminisce.
