Homer A. Goodwin's Obituary
Homer A. Goodwin "Bubba", 89, of Wildwood, FL, went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2025. Homer was born on April 22, 1936, in Darlington, SC, to his loving parents; Robert and Hazel (Gandy) Goodwin.
Homer was a proud veteran of the United States Army and he worked as a truck driver for almost 50 years until his retirement about 15 years ago. Homer became a Florida resident from South Carolina 20 years ago and attended services at Oxford Baptist Church.
Homer was a man of great strength, he loved his dogs and chickens and enjoyed his time outdoors fishing. Homer will be missed dearly and remembered fondly for his great sense of humor and headstrong personality.
Homer is survived by his children; Sandra Goodwin, Renee Goodwin and Robert Allen Goodwin, as well as five grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several loving nieces and nephews, and two sisters; Betty Howell and Francis Goodwin.
Homer is preceded in passing by his parents; Robert and Hazel Goodwin, his brother Robert Glenn Goodwin, sister JoAnn Wallner, and grandson Brock Goodwin.
