I am so thankful to have so many great memories of Uncle Herb!! My goodness, thinking about all of the memories brings tears to my eyes while at the same time a smile to my face!! He loved big and always made me feel so special!!! I love you Uncle Herb and will miss you!!!!!!
Uncle Herbert was beloved! He brought so much joy, laughter and love to all of us. I especially loved seeing him at our family reunion in Summerville each fall. There is no doubt that his was a young spirit in an aging body. He became really excited when I was serving in a United Methodist Church in Birmingham, AL. Thanks be to God that his spirit is set free from the limitations of earthly life. We will miss you terribly but rejoice that this separation is only for a short while. Godspeed, heavenly soul!
