Henry Slade Webb's Obituary
Henry Slade Webb, 81, Wildwood, Florida passed away on September 7, 2015 at The Villages Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Webb was born on December 5, 1933 in Foley, Florida to his parents Deleware Theodore Webb and Thelma (Pittman) Webb. Mr. Webb was a Conductor for the CSX Railroad for many years. He was a long time resident of Wildwood and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Leesburg, Florida and enjoyed playing with his golf team “The Bandit’s”. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years: Mary Webb of Wildwood, FL; two sons: Len (Karen) Price of Great Mills, Maryland and Justin (Anna) Price of Austin, Texas; four sisters: Jean Kearney, Joyce Page, Annette Kelley and Catherine Renner; five grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, Florida. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 11:00AM at First Presbyterian Church, Leesburg, Florida with burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida with military honors. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Leesburg at 200 South Lone Oak Blvd. Leesburg, FL 34748 in Henry’s loving memory.
