Helen O. Hettel's Obituary
Helen O. Hettel, 89, of The Villages, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012. Mrs. Hettel was born February 13, 1923 in Paris, Kentucky and moved to this area in 1983 from Newport News, VA. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wildwood, a retired salesperson and a homemaker. She enjoyed golf, playing bridge, all church activities. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1998. Survivors include her daughter; Gail LaRose of Clifton, VA.; brother; Leo D. (Lorretta) Ogden of Ft. Myers, sister; Leta Pollard of Nevada, 2 grandchildren; Scott (Kathy), Amy Michelle (Nathan) Sowden and 4 great grandchildren along with many loved nieces and nephews and her loving companion John Beams. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Wildwood; inurnment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
