Hector I. Rodriguez, 54, Leesburg, Florida passed away suddenly on March 23, 2026 at U.F. Health Leesburg Hospital in Leesburg, Florida. Hector was born on April 26, 1971 in Puerto Rico.
Hector was a Heavy Equipment Operator in the Construction Industry. He was of the Christian faith. He moved to the United States in 1983 from Puerto Rico. Hector was an adventurer and loved the outdoors. He was a University of Florida “Gators” fan and loved to watch both Football and Basketball games and support the Gator Nation with the love of his life Betty Harris.
Hector is survived by a brother and sister; step-daughter: Clarissa Pair and her children: Aysa Garza and Akeal Garza and the family of his love of his life Betty Harris, her three daughters: Rebecca Hipp of Leesburg, FL, Elicia Brisendine-Dunigan of Ocala, FL and Polly Brisendine and her husband Brandon Shay, Jr of Silver Springs, FL as well as her grandchildren: Chloie Pair, Killian Hipp, Krystin Peel, Mikkel Hagstrom, Allye Shay, Masyn Shay and Brandon Shay, Jr.
The family will be having a Celebration of Hector’s Life at a later date.
