Harry A Voss' Obituary
Harry A. Voss, 77, of Avon Park passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016. Mr. Voss was born July 21, 1938 in Granger, NY to Harry Van and Frances Elizabeth (Marble) Voss. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Harry retired as a manager and designer from Rock City Box Company. He moved to Avon Park in 2001 from Victor, NY and loved golfing and gardening. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Esther; children, Cheryl and Charles Hixon, Carol and Douglas Montevecchio and Harry “Alan” Voss all of Victor, NY; sisters, Elva Hennard and Natalie Sax; brother, Reginald and Mary Lou Voss; 7 grandchildren, Daniel and Sarah Hixon, Shaun Hixon, Conor Hixon, Alexandria Montevecchio, Albert Ryan Montevecchio, Jessica Montevecchio and Anna Voss; 3 great-grandchildren, James Montevecchio, Donavan Hixon and Alaina Hixon. Memorial service to be held 3:00PM, Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Avon Park Seventh Day Adventist Church, located at 1410 W. Avon Blvd, Avon Park, FL. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions in Harry's name to be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, Sebring.
