Harry F. Schurr, 72, of Wildwood, FL passed away quietly Tuesday, March 2, 2010 in his home. Harry retired in 1998 as the Director of Training for Glaziers Local Union 252 / IUPAT District Council 21 in Philadelphia, PA. He attended St. Vincent de Paul Church in Wildwood, FL. His hobbies included golf, and stained glass. However until 1998 his passion and focus was without question, the members and employers of Glaziers Local 252 / IUPAT District Council 21. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Patricia; sons: Frederick (Adele), Harry (Sandra), Thomas (Jane), James, and Mike (Sue) Schurr; daughter, Susan Maiorano; brothers: Bill (Dot) and James (Marie) Schurr; sister, Mary Ann (Bill) Goodrich; 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren AND five thousand brothers and sisters of Glaziers 252 and District Council 21.Memorial services will be planned in his home town of Philadelphia. Should friends desire, memorial contributions in Harry’s name may be made to Cornerstone Hospice.
