For me, Harry the man, the myth and the legend captivated my full attention when he spoke. Albeit my second cousin and separated by a few years, I really, really looked up to him. As a young man, I loved to listen to his stories which were always full of excitement and adventure. Some of them that fascinated and tickled my humor the most involved scuba diving. Harry planted a little seed in me with those stories and inspired me to take the class. Many, many years later I’m an instructor and now making a career of Scuba. Harry, probably unknowingly, inspired me and directly impacted my life, like he did for so many others, in so many wonderful ways. You know in another way, Harry also indirectly impacted the lives of the hundreds and hundreds of students I’ve taught over the years, it wouldn’t have happened without him. I will forever cherish all those memories of Harry. Someday I’ll see you again in heaven cuz, I got some new stories to tell! Later in life Harry and I also shared a passion for old Volkswagen Beetles. Harry and Faye, I forever promise to cherish and take care of your beloved and beautiful convertible. Furthermore I promise to pass it back on to family!
