I grew up across the street from his parents & knew Harris & Jimmy well! Plus his parents were the nicest people I never met. Then when I worked at LRMC he would stop by everyday with a joke & a smile! He was always a pleasure to see Coming RIP Harris. Sorry for the families loss!🙏💔😪

I grew up with his children, but got to know Harris while working with him. You could always count on him to make you laugh. The community has lost a great man.
I first met Pops (Harris) while working at LRMC North and we quickly became buds. Anytime I needed assistance, I knew I could call and he’d be right there to help. Pops was an amazing man and could bring a smile to any room with his sense of humor, and he always had the scoop on what was happening ☺️! Becoming part of this “framily” was an added bonus for me which meant I still got to see him post-retirement and every time he still had a joke and smile. Thank you Pops for the many laughs and memories...you will certainly be missed by many. To Mama Alma, Sharon, Wade, Shelley, Denise and family...lifting you up in prayer and sending love to you all.
