Harold A Treat's Obituary
Harold A. Treat, 91, of Wildwood, passed away Monday, November 14, 2011. Mr. Treat was born January 6, 1920, in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Wildwood in 1983 from Largo, Fl. He was a member of the Faith Presbyterian Church in Oxford. Mr. Treat was a Captain in the U.S. Army during WWII and was awarded 3 bronze stars. He was a retired Trainmaster for the Cuy Valley Railway, a member of the John Barkley Masonic Lodge in Fairview, Ohio. He enjoyed woodworking while living in Ohio and loved to golf as well as continuing to learn as he taught himself how to use and master his computer. Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Joan along with 4 children, Gail, Gary, Sharon and Sandy. A celebration of Mr. Treat’s life will be held 1:00p.m., Friday, December 9, 2011, in the Faith Presbyterian Church, Oxford with committal services following in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
