Glennis W Nickell's Obituary
Glennis W. Nickell, 89, of Chillicothe, Ohio and Lady Lake passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014. Mr. Nickell was born February 28, 1924 in Morehead, Ky. He is a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII where he was in the artillery division and was awarded as a sharpshooter. He retired from Borden Chemicals and has been wintering in Lady Lake for over 20 years. He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Fruitland Park and enjoyed woodworking. Survivors include his loving wife, Dorothy; 3 daughters, Diana Cameron of Lady Lake, Vickie Palmer (Paul) and Carol Green (Ric) both of Ohio; brother, Jesse; half brother, Bill; sister, Emogene Shroyer; 2 half sisters, Marlene Mollette and Sherry Watson; 3 stepsons, Danny, Bruce and Rick Weese; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A visitation for Glenn will be held 11:30am, Tuesday, January 28, 2014 in the Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg. Additional services and interment will be in Grove City, Oh.
