Glen J Lawrence's Obituary
Glen J. Lawrence, 76, of Wildwood passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013. Mr. Lawrence was born June 23, 1936 in Wilton, Wisconsin to the late Glen and Agnes (Frederickson) Lawrence. He settled in Wildwood in 2011 from RV’ing full-time. He had retired from both the Civil Service and the U.S. Marine Corp, serving during Vietnam. He was a Lutheran by faith and belonged to the Escapees RV Club. He enjoyed RVing, cooking, gardening and woodworking. Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Barbara; son, William Douglas Lawrence of Helendale, Ca.; daughter, Barbara (Wesley) Carpenter of Greencastle, Pa.; brother, James of Vesper, Wi.; sisters, Joyce (Eugene) Marten of Cottonwood, Az. and Beverly Thompson of Stewartville, Mn.; 3 granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
