Glen Ray Elfrank's Obituary
Glen Ray Elfrank, 78, of The Villages passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017. Mr. Elfrank was born August 2, 1939 in Painton, MO to Clyde and Capitola (Willet) Elfrank. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Glen retired from McDonnell-Douglas in 1996 and began wintering here in 2005, then moved here permanently in 2011 from St. Louis, MO. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus in Wildwood. Glen enjoyed golfing, motorcycling and being creative around the house with the upkeep and repairs. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Judie; children, Michele Wood (Jim) of Florissant, MO, Allen Elfrank (Karen Izold) of St Peters, MO and Michael Elfrank of The Villages; sisters, Charlotte Smith and Irma Foster (Bob); grandchildren, Nikki Wood (Zach Griffith), Brittney Wood, Brandi Butron (Jon) and Jake Elfrank; great-granddaughter, Emma Butron. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00am, Tuesday, October 17, 2017 in the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wildwood. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Glen’s honor should be made to The Village of The Blue Rose, 12533 Highway 79, Clarksville, MO 63336.
