So many happy memories years ago of our camping, hunting and just getting together. I'm so sorry but now he has a brand new body. I know he is so glad to see all of his Family and Railroad Buddies that have gone on ahead of him. First let me offer deep condolences to the family because I’m certain losing Gerald, the patriarch of the family, is very painful. I didn’t know him well but i realized he was a special man. He had many physical challenges but he still loved life. He loved visiting with people, he loved his animals, he loved his family and he loved his friends. My friend Rich and he would talk at least twice a day on the phone about this and that. If Gerald couldn’t reach him he’d call me to make sure Rich was okay. That is a man with a great heart. I am happy I knew him even for a little while. May he rest in peace and may his spirit be in full joy, unrestricted now… fully free. 🙏
