Gerald Edward “Buck” Buckmaster, Jr., 45, of Sumterville passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Mr. Buckmaster was born September 28, 1966 in Marceline, Missouri and moved to Sumterville in 2010 from Miami. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force, a member of Discovery Church in Wildwood and enjoyed hobbies of Reading, Grilling, hunting, fishing, farming, playing his guitar and collecting. Buck's personal quote: "GOD is in control of all operations." Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Benis; son, Isaac Bermudez of Mississippi; daughter, Rhaiza (Javaughn) Johnson of Mississippi; father, Gerald E. Buckmaster, Sr. of Oklahoma; mother, Betty Mital of Missouri; brothers: John Cupp and Tony Cupp of Missouri; sisters, Belinda Crandell of New York and Theresa Correa of Missouri; 4 grandchildren Kamilah Bermudez, Salomeh Bermudez, Genesis Johnson and Selah Johnson. Visitation for Buck will be held Sunday, April 8, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Discovery Church, Wildwood, FL. The funeral service will be held 10:00am Monday, April 9, 2012, in the Discovery Church with interment following the service in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. with full military honors.
