George Warren Fussell's Obituary
George Warren Fussell, 84, of Sylvania, GA, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Mr. Fussell was born May 4, 1927 in Coleman, FL. , and moved to Georgia in 1989. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and worked as an MP at the Walter Reed Hospital during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Post 18, and Wildwood Masonic Lodge. He retired after 32 years as a lineman for Florida Power. His hobbies included farming, and bird hunting. Survivors include his daughters; Cyndi Pennington, Victoria McCormick; sons; Robert Fussell, Billy Fussell, Buddy Stokes and Mike Stokes.,;sisters; Mamie “Lucille” Guest. 12 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary and brother Raymond. Funeral services for Mr. Fussell will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 12:00PM, with visitation one hour prior.
