George Patrick Wadsworth's Obituary
George Patrick "Pat" Wadsworth, 91, passed away Monday, December 30, 2013. Mr. Wadsworth was born August 4, 1922 in Manchester, Ga. He grew up in Wildwood, FL, moving with Lucy and his children, to Jacksonville in 1952. He enlisted and served in the US Army Air Corp during World War II, as a gunner. Pat was a retired Engineer from CSX Railroad. He was a Methodist, a member of the American Legion and the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his children, Robert, Linda (Bill) Bew, George, Jr. "Patrick" (Carolyn), Janet (Charlie) Radford, and Russell, all of Jacksonville; sister, Alda Inman of Orlando; brother CD Wadsworth of Jacksonville; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Wadsworth will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 4, 2014, in the Wildwood United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Wildwood.
