George Fred Smith's Obituary
George Fred Smith, 88, of Sebring, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013. Mr. Smith was born July 16, 1924 in Irvington, New Jersey and moved to Sebring from Lakeland in 1986. He retired from Foodtown as a meat cutter in 1986 and was Navy Veteran of WWII . He was a member of Union Congregational Church in Avon Park. Survivors include his son; Gary W. Smith of New Jersey; granddaughter, Carolea Block of New Jersey. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn. Funeral services for Mr. Smith will be 10:30am, Monday, June 3, 2013, in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Chapel of Peace, Avon Park with visitation prior to the service from 10:00am until 10:30am.
