OBITUARYGeorge A. Fort, age 87, of Wildwood passed away Saturday, May 23, 2009. Mr. Fort was a native of Wildwood, living his entire life here. He was a member of The First Baptist Church of Wildwood, retired from Seaboard Coastline Railroad and was a WWII Army Air Corp Veteran. Mr. Fort is survived by his wife, Barbara; 2 sons, Craig and Byron both of Wildwood; a daughter, Vicki Vernon of Wildwood; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Fort will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 27, 2009 in the Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home, interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Wildwood. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorial contributions to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, Fl. 32778-9915.
