Genevieve M Cosimano's Obituary
Genevieve M. Cosimano, 84, of The Villages passed away Friday, October 18, 2013. Mrs. Cosimano was born May 11, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of Frank Joseph and Antoinette (Esposito) Re. She moved to The Villages in 2007 from Medford, NY. She was a retired computer operator and a member of St. Timothy’s Catholic Church. She loved playing cards and the slot machines and belonged to several card clubs in The Villages. Survivors include her loving husband of 64 years, Anthony; 2 sons, Len (Adele) Cosimano of Royal Palm Beach, FL and Frank Cosimano of Wheatley Heights, NY and Ocala, FL; daughter, Marie (Michael) Dimond of Alpharetta, GA; brother, Frank Re of The Villages; sister, Francine DeSantis of The Villages; 8 grandchildren, Gina, April, Anthony, Joseph, Jessie, Michael, Ryan and Delaney; 2 great-grandchildren, Gianna and Anthony. Visitation for Mrs. Cosimano will be held 2:00pm 5:00pm, Sunday, October 20, 2013 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 8:30am, Monday, October 21, 2013 in St. Timothy’s Catholic Church with Father Ed Waters, celebrant. Interment will follow in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
