Frank S Gery's Obituary
Frank S. Gery, 85, of Wildwood, FL passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010. Frank was an admirable man who served his country as a member of the U. S. Navy from 1942-1945. Later he worked as a dedicated union brick mason for 40 years in Reading, PA. Twenty-one years ago Frank began enjoying his retirement in Florida, sailing, dancing and traveling. Frank was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, Wildwood, FL. He was a man of many talents and interests. Frank spent his days gardening, reading and cheering on his favorite sports teams at home in Parkwood Oaks. Frank is survived by his loving wife Betsy. He is also survived by his 3 sons, Tommy (Fran), Chris (Kathy), Brian (Maureen), and predeceased son, Joseph. He will be missed by his 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, step grandchildren and many great friends. Family and friends will meet at Florida National Cemetery 9:30 a.m., Monday, July 5th, 2010. Memorial contributions may be made to Lane Purcell Hospice House 2452 CR 526E, Sumterville, FL 33585.
