Frances Lytle Maddox's Obituary
Frances Robinson Lytle Maddox, 91, a resident of Wildwood, went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2012 in Leesburg. Frances was a Florida native, born at the family home on Lake Weir. Frances graduated from Ocala High School and Florida State College for Women (FSU). She was a retired home economics teacher for Wildwood High School. Frances was a member of St. Andrew Orthodox Church in Eustis. She was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of the American Revolution and the Retired Educators Association. She is survived by a host of loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 66 years, Thomas Eugene Maddox, Jr. Frances was also preceded in death by her parents, Ernest James Lytle, Sr. and Caroline Pasteur Lytle and three siblings, Sarah Dumas Lytle Wellhoner, Ernest James Lytle, Jr. and John Carney Lytle. Frances and Gene were inseparable in life. They shared a life of helping others, a love of travel and the great outdoors and their families. The Maddox and Lytle families will miss their wisdom, patience, cheerful smiles and helping hands. Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 10:00am at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery, Fruitland Park, FL.
