Fort, Florence Ellen's Obituary
Florence Ellen “Flo” Fort, 75, passed away on December 8, 2025 at Beachside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing surrounded by her loving family. Flo was born on March 21, 1950 in Boston, Massachusetts to her parents Harmon Spooner and Grace F. (Aseltine) Spooner.
She lived in Cocoa, Florida for the past forty years and originally moved to Florida from Boston, Massachusetts. She was of the Roman Catholic Faith.
Flo is survived by a son: William Lance Fort, three sisters: Debbie Merullo, Patty Hyde and Joyce DeFazzio; a grandchild: Morgan Strong; Brother-in-Laws: Randall Fort and his wife Patti, Vernon Fort and his wife Jeannie, Joe Fort and his wife Sue, Ron Fort and his wife Sherry and Don Fort and his wife Debbie; and host of other loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Carl, sisters, Evelyn, Bernice and Cathy, a nephew, Thomas “Tommy” Fort and her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Fort.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
