Fern C. Williams' Obituary
Fern C. Williams, 93, of The Villages, Fl. passed away Friday, December 16, 2011. Mrs. Williams was born June 30, 1918 in Carbon County, Pa. and moved to Florida in 1986 from Bethlehem, Pa. She was a retired seamstress. Memberships included the Messiah Lutheran Church in Bethlehem, where she sang in the choir, the Bethlehem Women’s Club and the Bethlehem Choral Society. Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Mitchell and Barbara Williams both of The Villages; sister Marian Hahn of Lakeland, Fl.; 2 grandsons, Timothy Mitchell and Christopher Mitchell and 3 great grandchildren, Taylor, Conner and Kayla. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Earl. A private burial in Bethlehem, Pa. will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, Va. 22312.
