Faye A Samuels' Obituary
Faye A. Samuels, 86, of The Villages, passed away suddenly Sunday, September 27, 2020. Faye was born in Findlay, OH to William O. Harris and Hazel Shelley nee Harris on May 5, 1934. She graduated from Findlay High School, Findlay,Ohio in 1951. She was a Vietnam era veteran serving our country for 26 years in the U.S. Army as a Dental Hygienist including a tour of duty in Germany. Faye moved here in 2008 from Ft. Lauderdale. She loved dancing, fashion, music, decorating and travel. Faye and her husband Norman traveled every year and each trip made Faye’s zest for life even greater. She particularly loved visiting South Africa, Europe, Mexico and Malaysia along with transatlantic cruises. Faye was a gentle loving person with an easy laugh and a warm smile who brought joy to everyone she met. Survivors include her loving husband of almost 26 years, Dr. Norman Samuels; stepson, Stephen Samuels and his wife, Angi; stepdaughter, Marie-Louise Samuels Parmer and grandson Joseph Parmer; sister, Jackie Magee and her husband Oscar; ; stepbrother Terry Shelley and his wife Barb; nephew Steve Magee and his wife Christy and their son Ethan; niece Jennifer and her husband Scott Mag and their daughter Autumn.
