Eugene Joseph Brochu's Obituary
Joseph “Eugene” Brochu, 83, of Wildwood, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Mr. Brochu was born February 7, 1928 in Hardwick, VT., and moved to Wildwood in 1998 from Vermont. He retired from Trapp Family Lodge, Stowe VT and was a dairy farmer in Vermont. Mr. Brochu was a Catholic and a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, and St. Norberts Catholic Church. He was also a past member Knights of Columbus in Hardwick, VT. Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Virginia; sons; Alan (Dianne, fiancé) Huntington, VT., Patrick (Lisa), Deerfield, NH.; daughters; Diane (Roger) Desautels- Winooski, Vt, sister-in-law Kathleen (Alcide) Gaboriault, brother-in-law Harold Drown, brothers; Gerard, Jaques, John, sisters;Yvette Danault, Denise LaMonda, Pauline Cormier, Giesle Guilette; 6 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at a later date in Vermont. Memorial contributions in Mr. Brochu’s name may be directed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 6931 Arlington Road 2nd floor, Bethesda, MD 20814.
