Eugene A. Olinzock's Obituary
Eugene A. Olinzock, 91 of Summerfield passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012. Mr. Olinzock was born November 13, 1920 in Star Junction, Pa. and moved to this area in 2009 from Ft. Meyers. He is Catholic, and had served in the U.S. Navy during WWII seeing action in the Pacific Campaign. He retired as an accountant with the New York Bell Telephone Co and was a member of the N.Y. Pioneers at Bell Telephone. He enjoyed bird watching, walking, spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved dearly. Survivors include his daughter, Arlene (George) Zitterell of The Villages; sons, Wayne (Anita) Olinzock of Albany, N.Y. and Joseph (Maria) Olinzock of Gilbert, Arizona; brother, Frank Olinzock of Pa.; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00am, Tuesday, February 14, 2012, in St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, Summerfield. Entombment will be in Fort Meyers Memorial Gardens, Ft. Meyers. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County, 3231 SW 34th Ave., Ocala, Fl. 3447
