Estelle Harper's Obituary
Estelle Harper, 94, of Leesburg, Fl. passed away Friday, September 14, 2012. Mrs. Harper was born May 29, 1918 to the late Jack and Grace (Wells) Sanders in Hatley, Ga. She had lived in Bainbridge, Ga. for 52 years before moving to Leesburg in1993. She retired from Lanier’s Department Store then had worked as a teacher’s aide in the public schools. She was a member of the Morrison United Methodist Church in Leesburg and a past member of the First United Methodist Church of Bainbridge. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Bainbridge and a member of the Gideon’s Auxiliary. Survivors include her son A. Ellis (Evelyn) Wiley of Yalaha, Fl.; stepsons, Claude Edward Harper of Atlanta, Ga. and Larry Harper of Leesburg, Ga.; stepdaughter, Susan Harper Pippen of Panama City Beach, Fl.; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 1:00pm, Monday, September 17, 2012 in Oak City Cemetery, Bainbridge.
