Esperanza Rodriguez Cruz's Obituary
Esperanza Rodriguez Cruz, 101, went to be with the Lord on May 3, 2012, under the loving care of her family in Avon Park, FL. Mrs. Cruz was born on February 15, 1911 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to her parents Bartolo and Genoveva Rosado. She has resided in Avon Park for 16 years coming from Miami, Fl. and Queens, N.Y. She was a homemaker but had also worked as a factory worker for the Continental Connectors in Woodside, N.Y. She was a member of Avon Park Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church in Avon Park, FL. She is survived by two sons: Giddel Rodriguez of Queens, N.Y., and William Rodriguez of Pembroke Pines, FL.: four daughters: Angela Saillant of Allentown, PA., Eva Oliver of Coral Springs, FL., Nydia Rodriguez of Miami, FL. and Loyda Rodriguez of Avon Park, FL.; 18 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 3:00pm at the Avon Park Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church in Avon Park, FL., with visitation from 2:00pm till the hour of service at the church. Burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park, services entrusted to Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, Florida. .
