Eric Nelson Long's Obituary
Eric Nelson Long, 55, of Wildwood passed away Monday, November 6, 2017. Mr. Long was born September 29, 1962 in Canton, OH to Richard Nelson and Linda May (Strong) Long. He was of the Baptist Faith and loved fishing and football. Eric moved here in 1987 from Canton, OH and was a self-employed handyman. Survivors include his loving wife of 19 years, Tracy; mother, Linda Strong of Canton, OH; children, Jeremy Long (Kelly) of Lady Lake, Justina Long (Joseph LaPoint) of Okahumpka, Stacie Long-Rojas (Jose) of Wildwood and Miranda Long of Wildwood; sisters, Denise Dazey of Brewster, OH and Vickie Wottle of Canton, OH; brother, Jeff Long of Lake Panasoffkee; 6 grandsons, Joshua Long of Wildwood, Jaiden Long of Lady Lake, Joseph LaPoint of Okahumpka, Devan Long of Lady Lake, Dylan Long of Lady Lake and Jonethan LaPoint of Okahumpka. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00pm, Thursday, November 9, 2017 in the funeral home. Funeral Services will be 2:00pm, Friday, November 10, 2017 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel with interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wildwood.
