Dear Mr. Hathaway & Family As I opened our newspaper this morning I was saddened to read that Mrs. Hathaway had passed away. But along with that sadness came alot of wonderful memories that I have of the friendship our families shared when I was young. Living across the street from you on Forest Place I became good friends with Sue. Judy and Jim were like having an older sister and brother. I remember the times I spent camping with you, traveling with you to go get your dog Bitsy and the numerous times Mrs. Hathaway would have me stay over for dinner. She was a wonderful lady and I will always cherish the memories I have of her. On behalf of my family and myself I extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family.
