Elisabeth Ann Ronan-Pritchard's Obituary
Elisabeth Ronan-Pritchard, age 81, of Oxford, Florida died July 29, 2021. Liz was born on March 21, 1940 in Newburyport, MA. to James and Catherine Ronan, nee Shea. She attended Newburyport High School, following her brothers Jack and Jim. Following high school, she attended Northern Essex Community College earning a two-year nursing degree. This was followed by a B. S. degree from St. Leo University and subsequent Master of Science degree from Webster University. Liz practiced Nursing for 35 years. She worked floors, handled charge duties, OR, ER, HR and case management responsibilities. Liz was a lifelong athlete pursuing skating, skiing, horseback riding, bicycling, boating, field hockey and swimming. Other interests included gardening and showing classic cars. She traveled extensively throughout the U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Mediterranean and Europe, including living in France with her family for three years, She is survived by her husband, Frank Pritchard of Oxford, Florida; brother, Jack (Frances) Ronan of Newburyport MA.; four children, Audrey Deguio of Arvada, CO., Dianne (Ronald) Cormier of Haverhill, MA., Robert Deguio of Rye, NH., and Michael Deguio of Kingston, NH.; six grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; nieces, nephews, and cousins. Liz was pre-deceased by her brother, James Ronan and her son William Deguio. Wake will be held at Twomey, LeBlanc, and Conte Funeral Home, 190 High Street, Newburyport MA. 01950 on September 24, 2021, from 5pm to 8pm. Services will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery on September 25, 2021, at 10:30 am, Ronan family plot, old section number 52.
