Eleanor Mabel Ferrier's Obituary
Eleanor “Mabel” Ferrier, 83, Wildwood, FL. passed away on April 15, 2015 at her residence in Wildwood. Mrs. Ferrier was born on August 27, 1931 in Yale, Michigan to her parents Chandler and Gertrude Hull. Mabel as she was fondly called by her kids was one of the first female school bus drivers for the Yale District. She had many fond memories and stories about her kids on the school bus. Mabel had worked for the Yale, Michigan School District for 30 years as a Bus Driver. She and her husband moved to Wildwood 22 years ago from Yale, Michigan. She was a member of Church of Christ in Yale, Michigan. She loved to read and sew as well as ride motorcycles and snow mobiles. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years: William Ferrier of Wildwood, FL; a daughter: Judy (Roger) Parr of Baldwin, MI; two sons: Larry (Marge) Ferrier of Tennessee and Mike Ferrier of Yale, MI; a sister: Norma Bloom of Wildwood, FL; six grandchildren: four great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
