Edwin Kent's Obituary
Edwin F. Kent, 80, of The Villages, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011. Mr. Kent was born in New York City and moved to The Villages in 2005 from Long Island, N.Y. He was a retired messenger service dispatcher, of the Jewish faith, a decorated U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, a member of the Knights of Pythias in Long Island and he enjoyed impersonating several celebrities. Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Pat; a son Bruce (Meryl) Kent of Arizona and a daughter, Audrey Kent of Ft. Lauderdale. Funeral services for Mr. Kent will be held 10:00am, Friday, August 12, 2011, in the Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, with interment following the service in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg.
