Edwin M. Clark Jr.'s Obituary
Edwin M. “Buddy” Clark, Jr., 76, of Leesburg, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019. Mr. Clark was born August 3, 1943 in Jacksonville to Edwin M. Clark, Sr. and Margaret (Kitler) Clark. Buddy moved here in 1997 from Jacksonville and was the retired co-owner of Buddy’s BBQ and Steakhouse in Wildwood. He was a member of the American Legion in Fruitland Park and Amvets in Leesburg. Buddy loved fishing, hunting and golfing but more than anything else he loved to cook and share good food with others. Survivors include his loving companion of 29 years, Barbara Clark; brothers, James E. Clark and Carl Morris; sisters, Carolyn Blanton, Deborah Branch, Linda McCormick and Martha Jean Clark; several nieces and nephews and his canine companions, Baby and Spunky. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Reason Morris and sisters, Kay Manning and Juanita Jarkowski, and precious canine Dinky. Buddy’s family will have a private service in the Hughes Cemetery, Yulee, FL.
